When will the new childcare center open?

The center will serve children 6 weeks to 3 years old.

Where will the new center be located on campus?

The childcare center will be located on the north edge of campus near White Field, Beichner Hall (home of the Family Resource Center that serves students), and The Landings at Notre Dame apartments.

The tuition rates will be a sliding scale based on family income level.

The capacity is 168 children with a focus on infant through 2 year old rooms.

KinderCare is the most accredited provider in early childhood education. Almost 100% of their centers are accredited through organizations like NAEYC, the nation’s leader in preschool accreditation. This new child care facility will be NAEYC accredited.

What is the impact to ECDC?
