Family Care Networks

Finding a sense of community when it comes to parenting is incredibly valuable. You may or may not have family and friend networks in the area; even if you do, it is often useful to connect with other working parents facing similar stage-of-life challenges. We hope these resources and ways of connecting with others can help you navigate the challenges of family care.

• Child/Elder Care Community Google Group - Exchange ideas and information with other ND faculty, staff, and graduate students on child and elder care needs.
• Employee Resource Groups (subgroups - YLND Mom’s Group) - Connect with other moms for support, fellowship, and encouragement.
• Caregivers Support Group - Open to faculty or staff who are currently caring for an aging parent, a spouse, or a child with special needs.
